PIXEL GROUNDS
Recently I voiced a few short announcer lines for this adorable indie dev puzzle game on Newgrounds.com, Inc. for a Pixel Day collab!
PIXEL GROUNDS: Simple, Addictive, and Now with a Voice!
I’ve got some cool news to share! I recently had the chance to add a dash of voiceover to a calming albeit addictive indie dev puzzle game, PIXEL GROUNDS, showcased on Newgrounds.com. This collaboration was part of their awesome Pixel Day celebration.
What makes pixel art games stand out? Their unique blend of nostalgia paired with crisp, modern designs. PIXEL GROUNDS has captured this essence brilliantly, offering a simple yet super satisfying gameplay that will have you coming back for more. And to add a little flavor, I chipped in with some voiceover lines.
Keep It Simple Silly
Voiceovers in gaming might often be associated with expansive narratives or complex characters. But here’s the thing: even in the most straightforward games, the right voice can add depth, charm, or even a pinch of humor. That’s what I aimed for with PIXEL GROUNDS – to complement its addictive simplicity with a touch of auditory character.
If you’re on the hunt for a game that’s easy to pick up but hard to put down, PIXEL GROUNDS is it. And the cherry on top? You can get hooked, without spending a dime, as it’s available for FREE on NewGrounds. NewGrounds is where many independent game developers get there start.
MORE, you say?

In a nutshell, PIXEL GROUNDS is a testament to the fact that simplicity can be utterly compelling. Whether you’re there for the puzzles, the pixel charm, or to hear a tad bit of my voiceover work, I guarantee you’re in for a treat. Dive in!
